Mini Cooper had molded interior dashboard, steering wheel, bucket seats, they were all 
painted Flat Black to contrast with Gloss Black exterior. Black-White staggered racing stripes made from cutting regular sized black and white decals. Window was already factory-painted with black trim, hence did not require repainting.

Unfortunately, due to fierce global competition, high overhead employee expenses (ex. health care, salary levels), BMW sold BMC portions to MG Rover Group in 2000, but it never gain competitive stance and became last British-owned mass-production auto manufacturer when it shutdown operations in 2005.
