Storage Box painted TESTOR Military Brown, used XACTO knife to scratch item to mimic usage. Engine deck dusted with BLACK chalk for exhaust stains. Water canister painted grey to show that although 1943 German order to use African-Yellow as main base color, equipments were repainted on as-needed basis, therefore some accessories still had old Panzer Grey color.

Inset 2: Within the modern scaled-military modeling realm, name of Shepard Paine resonates. He produced a series of dioramas for US modeling company MONOGRAM back in the 1970s. For us kids growing up in that era, we were absolutely awe-struck by his historical detailing, such as Sturmpanzer 43 model from his diorama pamphlet.
