Swiss national markings on wings and tail fin was custom designed. Red surfaces were painted by airbrush using TAMIYA Gloss red. Large white crosses on wings came from 1.48th HOBBYCRAFT Bf-190 fighter plane kit using its Hungarian national markings. Smaller white crosses on tail fin came from 1.35th armor decals using 1939-era German national markings.
Rollover : Side view of Mustang, the J-901 was custom printed from ink-jet printer onto clear decal sheet. Unique aspect of Switzerland is its constitutional recognition for multi-ethnic groups speaking German, French, Italian, and Romansh (an old Latin dialect). In past 20 years, English achieved defacto Swiss recognition in education and business arenas due to US economic prowess and wide penetration of American-English marketing.
