Painting the 1943-style stripes was completed via 3-step process : 1) Grey primer sprayed onto model, 2) Area to be painted white cordoned off with blue masking tape, 3) Exposed areas spray painted white.

Rollover : Results produced large white section whereby black decals can be aligned, rough paint edges readily hidden by decal placement.
