12-inch model of Locutus : Borg assimilated intermediary from capture of Captain Jean-Luc Picard in 1990s Star Trek The Next Generation TV series. Model made from vinyl, fitting was excellent. However, vinyl has tendency to sag after a few years, hence filled model inner with modeling plaster to hold its shape in years to come. Also, superglue had to be used since regular modeling glue could not secure parts together. Star Trek.com (official site) - http://www.startrek.com/startrek/view/index.html

Model major work were its arms and Borg wires inserted into Picard's body. Arms were superglued to body, gaps filled with modeling putty. For wire tubes, to ensure a snug fit, wire attachment points were drilled, clothing pins inserted into opening. Wiring tubes then secured onto protruding clothing pins and superglued.
