  • Locutus frontal profile, its body molding was excellent. Small detail added, circular port on right belly came from 1/35 Italeri SdKfz 234 armor car kit, just wanted to add a data access port in that locale. To bring out life-like facial appearance, eyes were painted Testor Flat White, then its oval edges trimmed with Testor Navy Flat Gull Grey to blend with skin texture. Eye's black pupil created by using a black felt-tip pen, with a steady hand and drawing small circles in the constraint space.

  • As previous noted, in order to bring additional interplay insertbetween Picard and Locutus personalities, Picard character in subsequent Star Trek TNG episodes and movies had nightmares and flashbacks to his Borg-assimilated Locutus character. It got to a point whereby some Trekkers/Trekkies got miffed that he was having too much mental stress to operate as effective Star Fleet captain. Suffice it to state, the Star Trek franchise always "milks the max" out of all 5 series from 1960s Star Trek (The Old Series) to 2000s Star Trek Enterprise.

  • Rollover : Locutus back profile showing same detailing as the front, the figure was slightly uneven when completed since one foot was a tad bit shorter than the other. Hence, used black silicon paste from Walmart hardware department, slab a tab on bottom of uneven foot, when dried the excess silicon was trimmed off, thereby creating even standing posture.

  • Inset 1 : Locutus model was free-standing, customized display base shows TV scenes and illustrations of Locutus, Borg Cube, and USS Enterprise battling the Borg at Worf 359. Worf 359 Battle Picts - www.startrek.com/startrek/view/library/media/TNG.html?season=4

  • Although "USS Enterprise" name has been in American Sci-Fi lore for past 40 years, the first US vessel bearing its name can be traced back to 1775 during battle against British Colonial forces on Lake Champlain-New York. Vessel name took major military significance in WW2 when American aircraft carrier USS Enterprise was at one point in 1942 the only operational aircraft carrier in entire Pacific theater during battles against Imperial Japan forces. And ofcourse, 1960s Star Trek TV series impressed the "Enterprise" name as part of Star Trek franchise in succeeding decades. USS Enterprise - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uss_enterprise
