Rollover : Star Trek TNG Enterprise  vessel also called "Enterprise D", or USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) Galaxy class starship. It was originally designed for deep-space exploration with family members/children aboard. But this emphasis family and children aspect of Enterprise-D waxed and waned after TNG 3rd season, thus was only sporadically shown in subsequent episodes. Inset 1 : First Borg cube depiction was when omnipotent "Q" entity hurled Picard's Enterprise into Borg space. Looking more like a runaway from a rubic cube / plumber's convention, this was mid-1980s TV Sci-Fi technology. There was no TV CGI special effects in regular use in those days due to cost constraints. Thus Borg re-generation from battle damage was done by heating the plastic section of the Borg Cube (probably by a hair dryer), filming its gradual surface deformation, then reversing the video to show Borg reconstituting the Cube. Inset 2 : In Star Trek TNG "Best of Both Worlds" episodes, Commander Ryker battled Borg  Cube by separating Enterprise Saucer section so Borg would have to contend with two targets. During this engagement, Federation rescue team (Data and Commander Worf) infiltrated Borg Cube and captured Locutus. Locutus was then stepwise de-simmilated from the Borg via severance of collective mind linkage and hardware removal.
