Starship Troopers 1997 movie, an adapt ion from Starship Troopers a novel by Robert A. Heinlein, showcased Athena-class mobile infantry / drop-ship carrier of Terran Federation during the Arachnid War, or colloquially called Bug War. Paraphrasing from Al Bundy - Married with Children sitcom, this movie is the quintessential "Guy movie for Guys". Starship Troopers movie came out the same year as rival Titanic romance "Click Flick", gals gravitate towards romance and drama, boys will be boys we call gravitate to gung-ho combat with big guns. Nose section additionally secured via mounting 3 long nails into its base to secure onto main hull.
Hull contact area reinforced with plastic styrene for flushed surface. Both clear Plummer's Glue and Superglue were used as adhesives given nature of resin surfaces |
