In mounting the shields, small hole was drilled near umbrella center, metal clothing pin super-glued into its shaft for a sturdy mount. Rollover : To properly distance shield from its shoulder rest point, small plastic tube (part came from WD40 spray nozzle) glued underneath shield.

BTW, not related to this model, but came across a webpost article when a person sprayed WD40 directly into one's desktop computer, which quickly fried the CPU since lubricate oil retains heat and capacitance via electrical contact with motherboard.
