SS in German means Schultz Staffel (Elite Guard) and was organized along racial lines in early 1930s as a special parade and protection unit for German Chancellor Adolf Hitler. By early 1940s, it extensively recruited western European volunteers to join the crusade against Bolshevism. Overall German SS organization was divided between political and military wings. Political side is called the Allgemeine-SS (General SS), they controlled tasks such as state security, racial purity certification, concentration camps, slave labor teams, etc. Military side is the Waffen-SS (Armed SS), they were organized into Panzer and Panzergrenadier Divisions, and served on Western - Mediterranean - Eastern fronts 1939 to 1945. uniform with military brown, 2) Paint 50% with
irregular dark-brown shapes, 3) Use a fine-tip brush and tab light
tan moth patterns on both color surfaces, 4) Add dark-brown moth patterns
onto lighter military brown section to blend the two
colors.
