Information Architecture
UweM site is divided into three navigation silos : 1) Top Navigation Menu, 2) Left Navigation Menu, 3) Footer Navigation Menu. Top Navigation Menu contains pages referencing the model displays. Left Navigation Menu outlines the model collectible and site logistics.

Footer Navigation Menu provides quick access to commonly used menu commands. An interlocking customer experience is provided of models' construction stages, finished product photos and related historical artifacts. Enhanced features also include 3rd-party model reference sites, online publication orders, model building techniques and collectible listings, etc. "You are here" indicates current webpage location is relation to the overall site.

Top Navigation Menu
Pages for model display and associated historical information. Menu divided into six model categories, sitemap menu, home menu.

Categories include : 1) Tracked : fully and half-track vehicles, 2) Wheeled : single and multiple rad vehicles, 3) Aerial : propeller and jet aircrafts, 4) Naval : vessels and flying boats, 5) Sci-Fi : science fiction related, figures or vehicles, 6) Misc : vignettes or stand-alone figures.

SiteMap Page contains comprehensive listing of all documented models. Model Description Page lists general model information and thumbnail hyperlinks to Model Detail Pages.

Model Detail Page expands thumbnails into full viewing with model photo, construction phases, reference links to external sites.

Message from Uwe : welcome message of models "Made in USA", UweM's online branding concept, and collectible's pricing structure,

Collectible List : models ready for private/public collection, link to its detailed description pages.

Modeling Technique : series of pages outlining modeling material, construction, documentary photography used in each model's research and workmanship.

New Projects : recently completed and/or documented models.

Site Design & Usage : introductory information to site navigation and information architecture.

Footer Navigation Menu
Quick access to commonly used menu commands, such as Home Page, SiteMap, Collectibles, eMail.

References Menu are external websites outlining documentaries, military affairs, weapons systems, publications, memorabilia, 3rd-party modeling websites, etc.

Services Menu list websites for electronic funds transfer, parcel post shipping agents, web browser download links.

PrevPage and NextPage Menus are web browser javascript commands to auto cycled among loaded web pages.
